Asus Eee PC 1000H Netbook

The Eee PC 1000H has a generous 10-inch display and weighs in at just over 3 pounds giving you just the right balance of portability and usability. Ease-of-use is also guaranteed by the large keyboard which is around 92% of that of a normal notebook – reducing typing errors and making it comfortable for prolonged use. The trackpad supports multi-touch control for intuitive control of images etc. and has dedicated left and right buttons.

The Eee PC 1000H has ample storage featuring 80GB hard drive (not solid state) which is enough for a reasonably sized collection of images and music. Processing power comes from a 1.6-GHz Intel Atom processor and 1GB of RAM which is more the enough to run common office and entertainment software.

The 1000H's 6-cell battery provides around 7 hours when running the Windows XP operating system and around 6 hours when running Linux. Improved battery life comes from the Super Hybrid Engine which allows you to quickly change the netbooks performance settings depending on your needs.

Internet connectivity is provided by the onboard Wi-Fi 802.11n and the netbook is Bluetooth enabled to allow quick file transfer between devices.
